These were taken with my D700 and either the 85 1.4G or the 35 f2. The tree is a global willow and the birdies are baby robins I think![]()

Yay! I love scrabble, wine, and picnics.
On a side note… all of these were taken with my brand spankin’ new Nikon D700 and 35mm f2 lens. I am now a Nikon user![]()

I haven’t blogged in quite some time! I always post previews on my facebook site so make sure to add me!

I don’t do enough family photography.
I think it’s because it literally stresses me out LOL. I remember the days of figuring out what to wear, getting everyone dressed, re-fixing hair 3 times, lugging my kids to the mall {they never went willingly}, finally getting in front of the camera only to have my kids freak out.
I am not sure why it never occurred to me to hire a professional photographer to take our pictures in a natural outdoor setting.
Yesterday was a hilarious experience. I showed up at the Whalen’s house a little early so they were in chaos mode. Kelly was still deciding what to wear, brushing her hair as she walked down the halls. She brought a few outfits down for me to choose from {ikr? who would want to ask the queen of jeans and tshirts what to wear?} After discussing “crotch-a-saurus” and tight pants Kelly decided to just wear what she had on. I am in love with this family.
